I phoned at 8.45am on a Monday. Was offered an appointment at 8.50am the same day. I was in and out of the Practice by 9.05 and off to get my prescription. Service can't get any better than that! Many thanks to you all.

I have been a patient with this practice for 20 years and I cannot
fault the ability & kindness of all the professional staff, in their
capacity to instill a sense of real concern about my multifarious
health problems. Over the time that I have been a regular customer,
& the frontline staff have often gone out of their way to make sure
that I can see any doctor/nurse within a very reasonable time and
some times at short notice. Petersfield, is a relatively small,
inner-city medical facility, but it's smaller size does not detract
from it's staffs huge ability to be polite, informative and
welcoming. Consultations are usually not a hurried affair, which
makes the patient feel as if they are genuinely being listened to by
the appropriate health professional. I would highly recommend this
practice to anyone who might prefer a more relaxed, yet highly
professional group of medical /ancillary personnel.

I was visiting Cambridge and needed to see a doctor. The reception
staff were very helpful and arranged a same day appointment. I was
seen by an excellent doctor. Not only were they totally professional
but also created an informal, relaxed atmosphere and made me feel
that they were genuinely interested in my welfare.”

What I liked
It is good to have an equal number of male and female GPS. Some of
the doctors are exceptionally kind and helpful. The appointments
system is excellent and the clerical staff are very good.
What could be improved
This is a fault with almost all GP practices in England. Doctors
don't believe you if you have vague symptoms and almost always put
these down to stress. Usually there is an illness, sometimes very
serious. Diagnoses could be improved.
Anything else to add?
The above comment should be taken seriously because it is a
nationwide fault.”
