Healthcare Professionals Attached to the Practice
We have a number of people working at the surgery who are not directly employed by us.
Midwife
Lisa Borthwick is our midwife and holds a weekly clinic at the surgery. Pregnant ladies will be given paperwork at their booking appointment which includes details of when, where and who to see for routine antenatal care along with the telephone numbers for the midwife and how to contact her and the maternity hospital.
Counsellors
There are two counsellors working in the practice from The Lawrence Way Counselling Scheme set up by the PCT. You need a referral from one of the doctors to access this service.
Community Nurses
The community nursing team pick up messages from us on a regular basis. Messages can be left with our reception staff or on the community nurses' own answerphone by telephoning 01223 566461
